A Father's Day note to the NFL

Another Father's Day weekend has come and gone and summer has officially begun. While the celebratory weekend was wonderful, its proximity to the start of summer has me thinking -- why must we wait so long for football? Even with the climax of the NBA Finals, and baseball in full swing, I am more excited to read the Carolina Panthers weekly updates in The Sporting News than to watch any other current sports' offerings on TV. So here's an idea for the NFL next Father's Day weekend. In a span of three nights, replay the AFC & NFC championship games followed by the Super Bowl. Come on, Dads and non-Dads everywhere would love it. Heck even a replay of the Pro Bowl would make most of us salivate. College or pro, just give us a taste of football. Think of it as an appetizer before the feast which lays before us this upcoming season. Go Panthers...Go Seminoles...Go Football.
